A Celtic cross, the ringed cross you still find in old Scottish kirkyards, its arms filled with knotwork that loops back on itself with no beginning and no end. For many it holds faith, or the memory of someone, and it carries that quietly.
The knots and the trinity knot at its centre are picked out in green over warm golden wood, with a small thistle at the top, built up in six laser-cut layers. About 90 mm, hand-painted in natural oil woodstain so the grain still shows, with a strong magnet on the back, and made in Fife.
