Switch it on in a hallway and the light spills up warm through the elephant's fanned ears. Those ears are cut edge to edge with circles and spirals, the trunk runs straight down the centre in neat ridged segments, and the whole face is built up in six layers of wood over a clear acrylic core, so the pattern carries real depth.
It holds a warm amber that suits the timber, or turns through cooler pinks and blues, across seven colours, four light modes and the brightness on a dial. Low, it's a quiet light for a side table or a hallway console; higher, it throws the cut-out pattern onto the wall behind it. The elephant is often read as wisdom and long memory, gentle strength, and in some places a little good luck for the home.
It runs from any USB and comes with a plug included, so there's nothing to wire in before you switch it on. This is our own design, cut in our own workshop and not resold from a stock file, so once you buy it's usually a 2–7 day wait while we laser-cut, oil and finish yours by hand in Fife. Every lamp is finished and boxed here in Scotland.
