This is a Highland coo squared off into bold geometric planes: the sweeping horns, the heavy brow and the broad muzzle all built up from six layers of wood, each standing proud of the darker panel behind. The Highland cow is about as Scottish as it gets, bred to shrug off the worst of a Highland winter.
Lit from its round wooden base, it casts a soft green through the cut layers, low enough for a night-light on the landing or wound up bright enough to hold a mantel on its own. Seven colours, four modes and the brightness all sit on a dial, so you can match it to the room or the hour.
It runs off any USB and comes with a plug in the box, no bulbs or wiring to sort, so it's lit the minute it's unwrapped. The coo is our own geometric design, sketched in the studio before a single layer is laser-cut, never a bought-in file. We cut and hand-finish each one in natural oil, usually 2 to 7 days before it's sent, and every coo is made by hand here in Fife, Scotland.
