Set it low in a quiet corner and the lotus warms from the inside out, the petals glowing from deep red through amber as you turn the wheel through seven colours. It's a square panel rather than a cut-out silhouette: a lotus mandala stacked in layer after layer of wood, a green-edged frame stepping inward to copper and tan petals, with a single bud rising upright at the centre.
The lotus is one of the older symbols of calm and starting over, widely read as rebirth, purity and stillness, so it sits as easily by a meditation cushion as on a shelf. Four light modes and the brightness on a dial take it from a bright feature down to a low, steady glow.
It runs from any USB and the plug is in the box, so there's nothing to wire in. The lotus is our own design from first sketch to final coat, and we laser-cut and finish each one to order by hand in Fife with natural oil, usually two to seven days before it ships, and turned down soft it's calm enough to sit with while the day winds down.
